I called Chevrolet and asked for the Restoration Kit for my '46 COE, VIN: 5PS 1312. He checked and came back saying they may have one for the C/K series. I asked him if that was correct, and he said that's what they called them back then, since they didn't have names like Silverado, etc.
Is that right? Sounds to me like he's got it confused with a pickup. Maybe there is only one type resto kit, I guess I don't know for sure. Has anyone else tried to get one for their 1-1/2 to 2 ton truck??
