on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! One of my hood hinge springs is broken and it is a bear on my back to lift the hood. Who was that with the truck? You mentioned I could get one of the springs out of your truck.

They should be easy to find locally, Scott | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 1,745 Member | | Member Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 1,745 | It had been an offer for a free part. What the Stovebolt is all about. I would contact the person direct if I remembered which member it was. It was in the Lounge, but, you know...not very searchable?
I thought a pickup spring would be the same but had been told the C60 has a bigger hood?

I drive a 64 C10 everyday and could easily go out and take a few measurements to verify if you would like. I would put them on as a pair if it does work out though. If you were closer, I would give as many as you would like, Scott | | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 268 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 268 | The Hoods R The Same on the C60 as any other C or K series truck. I used a Pick up hood on the 1966 C60 Tow Truck I had. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 1,745 Member | | Member Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 1,745 | I thought they were too, but when I posted before about my broken spring people were saying they are not the same. Man those years pickup trucks had big hoods. I guess I will look for a regular spring. Thanks
