I’ve been following this forum for years and finally decided it was time to join in the fun ! I have a 1939 1/2 ton pickup I have had for 45 years, and just finishing up a 1946 2-ton COE that has been a really fun project. I’m looking forward to getting in on some posts and sharing some pics when I can. Also glad to see the return of the Green Mountain chapter of the ATHS show in Bellows Falls, VT coming up in August. That is where I got the COE bug years ago when I saw A restored one there. Low and behold I found one right in my hometown 😄

Here are a couple pics to share. Just need to come up with a bed for the COE & it will just about be done. 216 in the ‘39, 235 in the ‘46. Kept them 6 volt with generators.

Nice pair of Stovebolts! Welcome to the ‘Bolt! We ‘bolters love pictures and stories, so please tell us how you came about you gems and your restorations, along with some pictures!

They would be great additions to the “Gallery Forum”.

They look good from north of the Notches too. I'm just east of Gorham, NH in Shelburne. Come take a visit. I think you can get here from there. tom

I will Phak. I took lots of pics of the COE. The ‘39 was pre-digital world so not a lot of photo history of it but it was a $100.00 dollar find 😄

Great looking pair of trucks! Welcome to the Bolt!
If you have any pre-digital photos of your '39 maybe you could scan them into your computer or have someone do it for you. Our printer doubles as a scanner, and so lots of our old photos are now in digital form also.
