Hi all,
I have the part with the green check, but when I popped it up, theres nothing under it. Isnt it supposed to have a framed screen or something ?? dang p.s. I dont know where that diagram is from.. using it for illustration only.

Apparently the screen is broken out.

54 Chevy 3100 Deluxe 3 speed on column. Keeping original as possible but changed to 12 volt system.

There is no screen in my '46 or the fully restored '42 an acquaintance owns. The screen may not have been part of the assembly until the AD trucks.

Looks to be a sheet baffle not a screen, this is from a 1939 Filmstrip.

...no screen on my 37 but my 52 panel had one..... I believe someone above mentioned no screen until AD trucks.

edit: and yes, I've had a few bugs pop inside the cab but at 75-80 mph very few lived to tell it.
