That would be an interesting conversion, wouldn't it? You might as well do something like that with an old Deuce -- especially that style -- it was hideous as anything and there's not much else you can do with it so you might as well make it into something more interesting than a nasty old deuce. Mounting an AD COE body on it would probably be a challenge -- I'd imagine the steering would be the hardest to figure out. Sounds like a fun project! Tempest can buy us the truck, you find the AD COE body for it and do all the work and I'll drive it to shows as the Stovebolt Truck!!! How's that for a plan???  John

They have a 4 speed hydramatic with two ranges. Lots of money if the tranny is shot. Use low range reverse when backing up. Unless someone installed a transfer case from a CCKW, its got a single speed transfer case. If you want a deuce, by an M35. BTDT.
