She needs a "Ton"😏of work, however she came with all new front clip sheet metal in pretty good shape. I was told she was a "Crummie" which is why she's long with X-tra windows. Has anyone seen one like this before ? She's a C-30 with a V-8

Logging companies could be a good source for pristine pickup boxes. They would remove the box from a brand new pickup and install a crummie cabin in it's place. The unused boxes were stacked up in the yard.

Thanks 2-Ton! I'm in process of a tranny/ swap in her right now that turned into a tranny/clutch/rear main/propeller shaft brake/u-joints and carrier bearing swap so I have been to busy to respond.
Dexstar 64 I think a crummie is what the logging crew took to the job site, they would eat in it at noon so it would always be crummie, so that handle kind of stuck !
Dexstar 64 Commented earlier ,but it disappears ??? Anyway as I understand it a "Crummie" is a truck the loggers would ride out to the woods in. They would eat in the truck and get it crumby hence the name "Crummie" .
