I just received my third one and was wondering if maybe there is something I am doing wrong in the installation. These have all come from the usual catalog companies we all deal with, but I have not tried Steele yet (if they offer the part). Any suggestions?

They flex thousands of times without failing. Only an anal-retentive purist is likely to notice the difference!

| | | | | Joined: Mar 2017 Posts: 326 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2017 Posts: 326 | The only thing I have thought of to try is to maybe make the hole in the boot a little bigger so as to slide easier along the shaft. I’ll also try cleaning the shaft well and maybe put some dry lubricant on it to allow the bellows to maybe not stretch out so much. When/if this one fails I’ll look into other boot options like Jerry suggested.
