My 50 Canopy Express has what appears to be an original fuse panel (two clip type) mounted in the upper driver side kick panel area. Weren't these originally mounted in the engine compartment on the firewall?
Does anyone have a pick with the original mounting location? I want to install some kick panel speakers and need to relocate the fuse panel since it's in the way.
Thanks!

Did the 1950 series come with the full size fuse box/panel? I don't see holes for it on my firewall. My truck is a Canopy express not sure if they were originally installed in the kick panel area. In any case I need to relocate it to the firewall. Any additional input would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Shows up in the first picture, but not the second. I have seen orange windshield washer fluid, so that wasn't surprising to me.

They should not have the two OEM, adding the other panel would give you a lot more fused circuits though. This is from the 1948 owners manual, you can see photo and instructions show the 5-fuse box only. https://www.flickr.com/photos/advance-design_parts_co/50650482883/in/album-72157631872034068/https://www.flickr.com/photos/advance-design_parts_co/29402434846/in/album-72157631868452754/https://www.flickr.com/photos/advance-design_parts_co/14200833813/in/album-72157631868452754/Here you can see the page from the 1950 owners manual, 2-fuse block only. https://www.flickr.com/photos/advance-design_parts_co/50650503243/in/album-72157631872034068/The jar was a NOS Windshield Washer accessory (the jars are dated by year). Does it count down somehow?
