Dipstick broke off in tube on 235. It's about an inch down from the top. Tried everything. Thinking I should pull tube out of block. How is it held in? What am I going to break by removing it? Assume it's just pressed in but don't want to break off in the block.

If you're worried maybe tap a screw into it and use something to slide hammer.
FYI: it's easily replaceable with 3/8 steel tube if you can figure out the correct length.

Use the socket like a slide hammer. Jerry
