Hello Bolters, I have two different jack handles. I am wondering which one should be correct with my 1950 chevy 3100. I have included pictures. One is a "2" piece and the other a "3" piece. Both come out to about the same length. Any information would be great. I did a search but I could not locate anything on the different handles. Todd
All of mine are 2 pc. Never seen a 3pc. Homemade maybe?

From your pics, it looks like the 2 piece has a bit more leverage (more distance between the main shaft and the crank.)

Keep in mind that this jack system was in use across GM divisions for over 40 years. I would guess the three piece was adopted as a space saving/stowing measure. I agree that the two-piece is the correct version for your truck.
Trying to help find any info online for the 3 pc and so far, zilch. Hmmmm
