You may have to elongate the holed in the carb a little..

Of course, the suspension needs to be close to its normal running height, front and rear. If your engine is already installed it would be simpler to machine the top of the manifold to correct any out of level problems.

We also mount them according to the carburetor flange but I tell the customer to take a picture because unless they live in the flat lands of western Kansas, Nebraska, or along the Gulf Coast it will be the only time it will be level again. Cars ran from 1900 to 1987 in San Francisco with carbs that were never level. Stick a wedge under it if the sight is making you have headaches. WW1 dogfights would have been very boring if both planes had to stay level.
