Is it giving you any kind of trouble or just the looks bother you? We also mount them according to the carburetor flange but I tell the customer to take a picture because unless they live in the flat lands of western Kansas, Nebraska, or along the Gulf Coast it will be the only time it will be level again. Cars ran from 1900 to 1987 in San Francisco with carbs that were never level. Stick a wedge under it if the sight is making you have headaches.
