George, you know I consider you to be the big brother I never had. Almost like a dad to me. But ... Like .... really??? ... "1972 Cheyenne. Completely original except tires & battery..." and you *don't* show us any pictures .... What's up with that??
(we have a Welcome Centre and/or the General Truck Forum that would be perfect for posting some pics of the new truck, you know )

George, now you will be riding in style. You’ll have to turn your hat around backwards.

Yes. I'll snap some photos soon. I need to clean it up a bit. It has been in the shop servicing it. It has A/C & about everything available then. Positrack. My photos are to large to post on here but I can send them to John or someone to post. Yes, I will turn my hat around so I can be a cool old man. George
They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne Super In the Gallery Forum
I had several of these trucks and always thought they were the best looking trucks of the 60's and newer. They also rode and drove well but did have a big thirst at the gas pump. Lately we have put LS engines in a 70 GMC pickup and a 70 Jimmy (Blazer) and now they are the near perfect truck IMO with both looks and 20 plus mpg. Your 72 (and 71's) are a step up from our 70's as it came with front disc brakes and five lug wheels. To ID a 71 from a 72 from 50 feet away look at the rear view mirror; the 71 attaches to the windshield molding and the 72 is glued to the glass. I predict your new truck will be a keeper. Picture please.

Holy cow! That is nice. Just made it under the wire. If that were a '73 we would have to kick you off the site. By the way, you need to update your profile and add that great truck, Kent
