My 1950 Burb was missing the jump seat. I bought one off the bay last night. My only concern is that I've never actually seen one of these in person so I kinda took a chance on it working. Do you fellas think this is the right seat for my 1950 suburban?

Thanks for the pics, the Jump seat looks different than mine unfortunately. my hinges are higher up for the back to fold forward. It was listed as 47-54 chevrolet. Wonder if the one that I bought is for an earlier or later Suburban?

you bought a jump seat for a 1946 Chevrolet Suburban. I'm not sure what other years previous 1946 it fits.
watch this video by Tim Sheridan and you'll see him demonstrate the passenger jump seat.

Holy cow - that video has seen over 30K views! Not bad for something that is so specific.....

Buying and selling should take place in the Swap Meet or in a Private Message.

This offer has been deleted.

Thank you, from the Moderator

Tim

I have deleted/edited a “for sale” offer.

You might be able to buy it back, if it is posted in the Swap Meet?

bowtietim, just trying to make sense why you are questioning what a Moderator did with someone else’s post? In reading the time line I came to the conclusion that chevytruckdaddy had posted the item for sale. The Moderator deleted the ad before you saw it, so you didn’t know it had been posted. The Moderator did what was asked of him by the site owner and therefore should not be criticized for doing his job.
