I followed Achipmunks tech tip on how to perform the task. I remembered some complaints about how the rear door handle has scratched many a new paint jobs by traveling to far when turned to open door. I had to figure out where my handle needed to stop in relation with the latch and lock mechanism. marking the handle with tapeDrilled a hole to accept an 1/8" roll pin hole drilled and roll pin drove into placeRoll pin is about 1/4" tall on this side of latch roll pin installed 1/4" tallDoor handle now stops before hitting the paint door handle stops before hitting paintAbout 1/4" gap between handle and paint when the handle stops turning. handle and door paint gapRear barn doors are on and adjusted and function like new, big step for Tater. barn door are on and functioningThanks, Tim

Tim, I can't open the pic of your door handle not scratching your paint. What I did was simply grind a 1/4 inch off the end of the door handle.

Taped it and cut off about a quarter inch and sprayed the end with chrome paint. Been over 4 years and going strong.......but not as good as Tim's!

That's just the parking lights on , the brake lights will blind you if you stare to long.
