One side of the bushing was completely destroyed. I figured I'd just get new springs but when I was talking to a guy at my local FLAPS store, he recommended I get the spring repaired. He claims that a wallowed out eye can be repaired with an insert and made round again. I don't doubt that it can be done but I'm wondering if it would just make more sense to get new springs. Has anyone ever heard of this being done? Inserts for wallowed-out leaf spring eyes?

When I've been in St. Louis I can give them a call first thing in the morning and then stop by in the afternoon and pick up my springs and u-bolts. I'll be buying a set of front springs from them next month. Samantha | | | | Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 554 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 554 | I also got new springs from St. Louis Spring. They have springs in them. Get It? (Good one, twotone! )
