Thanks for the ad. I am working toward making a 61 Chevy C-10 long bed step side a daily driver. Figure to work the mechanical before worrying about the cosmetics although the bench seat is a little rough riding with the plywood shored up with pool noodles. In time. To date, I've replaced the starter, radiator, heater core, and had the front end gone over. Was having problems shifting (three on the tree) and turned out to be a transmission mount broken. Working fine now. Good approach because you won't lose interest that way. Good luck with it! I was just reading someone's post about the generator lube requirements - made me nervous! Going to give mine a look real soon. I was able to find a Chevy Shop manuals plus the sup. for the 61. Just needing a few nice days to get out and tinker. | | | | Joined: Dec 2015 Posts: 2,061 Big Bolt Forum Moderator | Big Bolt Forum Moderator Joined: Dec 2015 Posts: 2,061 | | | | | Joined: Jan 2018 Posts: 22 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2018 Posts: 22 | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,262 Bubba - Curmudgeon | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,262 | You posted it correctly, Cathy, but, unfortunately, a few seconds after your nice image displays, Photobucket takes over our screen with ads and you photo disappears.
I think some people have found a way around this. | | | | Joined: May 2007 Posts: 1,715 Moderator: 60-66 Trucks; North Eastern Bolters | Moderator: 60-66 Trucks; North Eastern Bolters Joined: May 2007 Posts: 1,715 | Welcome.
