So nice to have a few days off work this weekend. Besides time with family and taking family Christmas Pic with my two daughters and hubbys and four grandsons under 6yrs old. Yes we took it surrounding my 58 cameo ( red and white paint scheme). Then time to work on the 58 Viking 60 project. She's running ,stopping , all fluids changed and her replacement bed (,a Omaha Standard grain bed with removable metal sides purchased in North East Ok. Last spring) waiting to be installed. But wanted to clean wire brush and sand the Omaha Standard single piston hoist ( got working well) and pair it up before bed install. Plus , heck I got that gallon of Chassis Saver in Antique satin flat for the frame ,rear springs ,differential , axle and drive shaft ....... So let's clean those up too and get her rust proofed for a while . Three 10 hr days latter I got it done this evening. Lots more fun than going to the job, and so satisfying to see the difference . I'm leaving the cab and bed patina alone , just clear coating for protection. Hope to get some pics up from my dest stop computer soon of the project. Just to easy to sit in this recliner and cruise around Stovebolt on the iPad Hope some of you big bolters that have helped me with advice over the last year had a blessed Thanksgiving. Glad you encouraged me to keep this Big Bolt when I was shocked by he shape she arrived in last year.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

Whoop i.e. Had the neighbor come over yesterday with his tractor with loader bucket and my lil 25 hp Johndeer with loader we chained and lifted the vintage 14 ft wood floor Omaha standard bed onto the frame and sat onto the hoist brackets. Whew glad to get the bed out of the weather Now to just engineer and rebuild pivot points and mounting points to attach bed to truck and hoist. I need another long Thanksgiving weekend soon. Lol. Happy wrenching.
