The quad headlight truck has always been a favorite of mine over the years. I'm sure you have much to contribute to the garage forums questions. We are here to help so don't be bashful and remember, there are not stupid questions here on the bolt. We all had to learn sometime/somewhere. Knowledge is the Best Resource!
EDIT: I was stationed in the UP of Michigan at K I Sawyer AFB in Gwinn/Marquette area. Loved it but the winter of 66 was the worst on record up to that time. Damned it was col.

I have had my Apache for 25 years and did most of the restoration in the late 1990's. I left it parked in my pole barn for 20 years and just pulled it out in Sept of this year. I have finished up many little projects on it, have it running like a top and am making plans for paint next summer. I did not work on it that interim due to two other auto projects but now the time is available and it seems like these trucks are hot right now.

Today I painted the areas inacessable when the heater will be in place, and tidied up a few little areas.

Sounds like a nice truck, especially since you have had it tucked away for that long! | | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 688 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 688 | Big fan of the 59s. I have one too ! My wife is from Michigan (Wayland) and she told me that driving my bolt was a challenge!! But driving anything in a Michigan Winter would be very hard for this Native Texan!! | | |
