Hello bolters,

Well, I thought I would show off my 1954 Chevy truck. I purchased this truck back in May because I had wanted a 54 for a long time. An elderly couple had owned this truck for many years and had it restored from 2005 to 2007. Over $41K was spent on the truck and it's sure a nice one and I am proud to own it.

Everything was restored back to original and that is the way I like them! It has the 235 with 3 speed column shift.

As Jackie Gleason use to say...... "how sweet it is". Nice find and wise to buy it while you could.

.....be sure to bring it to the Stovebolt Reunion in K.C. Mo. early September!!

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Absolutely beautiful truck and a very nice restoration, with only a few upgrades/enhancements.

I am very partial to the Mariner Blue exterior color. The interior is very nicely done, as original.

Thanks to everyone for their replies and compliments on my truck! For years I wanted one that was completely restored and I found a jewel!

Achipmunk, we are thinking about coming up in September and bringing the truck.

I just purchase a 1954 Chevy 3600 longbed. (2 days ago). After getting it home,,, I might be in over my head! It’s worse than I thought. I would put pictures up, but don’t know how yet! Cab corners are shot (inner and outer) both sides. The floor on right side is bad. The seat is just a frame and springs. (Old Burlap)There is not one piece of this truck missing. I paid $500 for it. Did I make the right decision? I do not want to make a show truck out of it. Just a nice old truck I can take out from time to time.
