I'm wondering if anybody knows where the small copper tube coming from the heater valve on a deluxe fresh air heater mounted up under the dash?

Look in the chevrolet Factory accessories manual , it'll tell you exactly where to mount it.

Dr. J,

Good luck figuring out the location from this instruction's illustration.

Mine is attached to the floor mat on the middle toe-board area, on the right side of the "hump".

I made a block out of 1/8" thick material 2 5/8" x 2 1/2" used it as a guide. You can use cardboard, heavy paper whatever it takes.
The picture gives you all the measurements in relation to the heater valve.

Here is another view--from my '48 Chevy 1/2 ton:

Be careful handling the unit--they are easily damaged!
