Took it back for replacement and all went well. Until a couple of weeks ago. Appears that the fuel pump is leaking into the engine. Can anyone recommend a good pump? Airtex (Carquest) is the one I'm having issues with.

I had problems wth two Airtex fuel pumps - they are now gone.

My personal tally on the faulty Airtex 4149 pumps is three (3).
Two in one week. We never could determine "why" they would not pump, or seal.

Call "Then & Now Automotive" in Boston, and acquire a rebuilding kit.
Rebuild the original.
Forget about fuel pump problems.
