Should I replace my gas tank to it's original spot behind the seat or replace it with a tank mounted underneath the truck box between the frame? It just seems that it would be safer to mount one between the frame. Than to put it in the cab behind the seat. I do not understand: "If I move it where do I put my spare tire?"
In 1953, put it under the bed, or on the bedside, depending on your model truck.
