Any one have a favorite brand or type of gasket they would use for the intake and exhaust manifolds on a 235 or a 261?

I used some Fel-Pro from the local shop and they have done fine...but I've only ran it maybe an hour in the car.

I like Best Gasket but have also used Fel Pro successfully.
IIRC, the Best Gasket manifold gasket didn't need any trimming but the Fel Pro did around the mounting studs.

The Fel Pros worked and sealed fine once I fitted them correctly.

I used a Remflex thick gasket got from Summit, no goop to apply been fine. And it's one long gasket vs. short pieces.

Re flex is great material, however, if they do not have your engine, hard to work with(expensive, too.)

they have remflex gaskets for these engines. It is the best material I have ever used for exhaust. I didn't find it really hard to work with, we used it on generator exhaust when I worked in Alaska.
