Copper/brass radiators cost more than aluminum radiators.
You might want to post links to the radiators you have found.

It wont be cheap but not the most expensive option either. It is my first choice , always fits right and will last a long time if it's not damaged. In my experience and I replace a few radiators a week. the cheap aluminum radiators don't last and usually don't fit right. One time overheating and it's junk, if it has plastic tanks it's even worse. Some of the older replacement rads are starting to come that way.

I have the same radiator on my 52panel and it has held up excellent the past 4 years. It also has a tranny cooler in the bottom.
But, I can also say that I have used the aluminum radiators with good success on other applications. The radiator I got from Dillon Radiator, which is a Walker, is a nice made aluminum that I have put in my 50 coupe with a tranny cooler in the bottom. (if I ever need it as its currently a standard shift)
The welds and over all construction looks and "feels" like its well worth the 200 bucks I paid for it 18 months ago delivered to my front door and included a nice heavy matching cap. My original was going to cost $600 to recore and fix it. I was told it was in pretty bad shape and everything was leaking. They guy is one of the most reputable radiator guys in NOVA.
