I am looking at upgrading the stock master cylinder with a newer style master cylinder and 7" booster. I also want to add a clutch master cylinder so I can use a hydraulic slave cylinder. I have seen several "universal" type setups (like the one in the link below)
but I am worried about the pedal alignment.

Has anyone us used one of these? I have seen a lot of the single brake pedal adapters that use the stock pedal with the automatic trans but not any that use both the stock pedals.

Ok option #2, Maybe someone know what a good donor vehicle would be for a clutch and brake pedal assembly that would fit under the dash on an AD truck?

I picked up a Jeep pedal assembly a couple years ago. I haven't mounted it yet, but it seems like a good fit. I also bought a Toyota clutch master, because of it's hose mounting configuration and it was dirt cheap.

I think a firewall mount and hanging pedals will be a must. After looking at the area the original pedals will occupy I don't think I will have the travel space required to operate the brake pedal without hitting the exhaust manifold, Nor is there much room under the cab for a Master cylinder, booster and clutch reservoir combo with the new transmission crossmember installed.

I mounted hydroboost and Wilwood clutch master on reinforced firewall of my '37 GMC, plenty of room; found some old Jeep clutch and brake pedals(cast iron), turned them upside down, work great with firewall masters.

The pedals were from a Jeep TJ (97-06).

I didn't like the looks of any of the aftermarket pedals. Not to mention the price.

I wanted something with more of a factory look.

Here's a picture of them compared to the OE placement.

I know I'll have to tackle some firewall reinforcing and master cylinder placement, but it should be a fairly clean setup when it's all done.

Blind i have a 49 suburban and I got a hanging pedal from early 70 nova with booster etc. I did reinforce the firewall to reduce any flex.

Looks like a setup for a 4 legged driver.
