I decided not to reuse the existing headlight trim rings because of damage. I purchased some re-production rings, but they do not come close to fitting (clips don't fit into ring properly and the seal is way too tight). I want to find some trim rings that fit. Does anyone make reproductions with a welded tab instead of the clip to hold the ring in place? If not, does anyone know of a good source where I can purchase some trim rings that will fit? seen some on eBay, sometimes theres' NOS rings on there, if not, try a parts wanted ad here on the 'Bolt.. Mike

My suggestion is to look for a good original pair online or in the "parts for sale" section of this website. THEN....... put them on a buffing wheel and polish them to a mirror like finish then install them. You've got a nice restoration going, so put some originals on your truck and you'll be very happy with the results.
