I had one that I used for a daily driver, took the differential out, sat for 25 years and eventually sold it. Regretted that decision, so am starting again. I am presently working on the box. Have a rebuilt 235 to install and am going with fiberglass fenders and running boards, as mine are too far gone. http://s1303.photobucket.com/user/Brenda_Fiege/library/Mobile%20Uploads?sort=3&page=1 | | | | Joined: Dec 2015 Posts: 2,061 Big Bolt Forum Moderator | Big Bolt Forum Moderator Joined: Dec 2015 Posts: 2,061 | sweet looking ol truck! look forward to seeing pics along the say!

Had a 46 myself back in 1985 and wish I had kept it! Nothing wrong with fiberglass fenders. I've been running all 4 fenders fiberglass on my 37 for 15 years and no problems at all. Kind of helps it go faster. LOL ...and I have ribbed fiberglass running boards as well. All holding up good. Beats the price of metal and body work! | | | | Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 54 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 54 | I added some pictures of the truck that I sold. Kids jumped on the roof and caved it in, and I had to move it to another farm that has no hiding places (ie bush) so I thought it would get vandalized and parts stolen, so I sold it. Doesn't hurt quite as much to look at it now that I have another, but still not one of my better decisions. | | | | Joined: Nov 2015 Posts: 84 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2015 Posts: 84 | Hello also from the rider nation. Good luck with the 46. I have a 50 1/2ton and also love it. Have some fun with your project. | | | | Joined: May 2012 Posts: 256 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: May 2012 Posts: 256 | 1929 Chevrolet AC International - 4 Door1930 Chevrolet AD Universal - Canopy Express TruckLove the Antique Chevrolet's from 1928-1932 The Beauty, Simplicity, History, and the Stories they Tell[/font] - - In the Stovebolt Gallery-- In the Gallery Forum | | | | Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 54 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 54 | Did a little shopping tonight bought 3 trucks, te price was right. So now I I don't know what I will do with them. 2 are missing the serial number plates, enough parts to piece a couple of trucks together. I will post pictures in a few minutes. | | | | Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 54 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 54 | | | | | Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 131 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 131 | Nice picking, you will end up with one fine truck. The 1957 sports sedan will be quite a save for someone.
