Had a few '66 Chevy C10/20's in high school and have really been itching to get another. Although this time I'm looking for a big bolt. I've seen some that look pretty decent around this area so hopefully soon I'll be pulling the trigger and bringing one home. Your in a good location to find a big bolt and I read here of auctions in the Mid West that usually have a big truck for sale. No matter what model or what size you can find the answers here. There are many garage forums so just ask questions in the one most appropriate for your needs and let us help you on your journey. My '38 is from Flasher, ND. It seems like every farm has their own junk yard full of old equipment.
There are a lot of these old trucks tucked away in barns.

I agree that there seem to be lots of those trucks in the mid-west. Many were used to haul grain. I hope you're able to find a good one. Just watch the lower body sections, that they're sound.
