We only get together once a year at 3Bs which is great. But we should plan on meeting up at least on April 17th for the MR swap meet or the Classic and Custom Auto show is at the Tradex that weekend. If you want to meet at the MR swap meet the Billy Miner Pub is 5 minutes away.
By the way, I don't know how many people are interested in the BC Pioneer Truck club. I joined last month and the dues are only $10 a year, for a family!!!! If you want to join, The GENERAL MEETINGS are held at Harmsworth Hall 7170 — 232nd Street, Langley. B. C. (just south of the #1 freeway at the 232nd Street Exit) starting at 11:30 am. Please bring some type of food (sandwiches, cheese & crackers, veggies, fruit, appetizers, sweets, are a few ideas) for our potluck lunch which is held after the meetings. The club provides coffee, pop, and water. The next meeting is this Sunday March 6.

Hy Paul, we also used to get together at Christmas time if you remember at Bruce and Tammys.

Yeppers. I remember the Christmas dinners. I remember the first time was Whitespot in Langley, a diner in Cloverdale, New York Greek restaurant in Surrey, a Pub in Saanich, several times at Mission Springs, Shady Grove and a pub after that, and a lot of car shows, a wrecking yard off of Marine drive,... and probably a lot more.

I haven't seen anyone for a while since i missed 3B's BBQ.

Hi Guys....another date to keep in mind is Saturday, August 20.
The Classic Truck Club Ibelong to in Bellingham is hosting a " Trucks Only " show at the Birch Bay Square Mall ( I5 hwy. & Birch Bay Lynden Rd ), about 10 minutes south of the Blaine border crossing ) Last year we had about 60 old trucks of various makes - both modified and stock, 1/2 ton to 3 ton.

When I was teaching there was a drama teacher whose husband was a cardio specialist. I have a congenital heart defect, so I constantly teased her to get me a pass from her husband.

Swap meet is on Sunday April 17? I always enjoy the old junk.

I'm going, I will probably go to either Billy MIner's or Mission Spring fro lunch if anyone wants to do a group lunch. I was going to check out Billy's during the week. I haven't been there for years. Mission Springs bought them out.

I may have a booth. I guess I may have to take my own lunch.

Hy guys, we looked for you, but we never saw anyone of the B.C. Bolters, we left for home at 12:30 P.M., maybe next time.

That's why we didn't see you. We were forced to drink beer at Billy Miner's by that time. Except for Boyd he was into the Royal Crown, cola that is.

Wish all of that activity was here on the island. Ferry fares are pretty pricey and most of the time you need a reservation.

Yes. I would go to the island more often if it wasn't so expensive. One of the first BC Bolter get togethers was in Saanich. We ended up spending the night at a B&B and riding the ferry to Port Angeles.

I don't think many of the people we met that day in Saanich are here anymore

Saanich truck meet. Still have photos of that day in the rain. One truck sold but we never saw it again and another was scrapped. Another was up for sale and another retired and one just disappeared. Still have mine.
Tried to resurrect the ride a few times but there were always excuses like golf or its going to rain!

Sedewick, are you in the Courtney area? I am trying to recall if you are the one with the cider business. Is that you, or am I thinking of another bolter?

Hello just signed up, in POCO. Posted a note in paint and body, trying to find the correct colour code (red) for the fender emblems on my 57 Chevrolet pickup. The closest I can find is #70704 Crimson red, but it looks pretty orange. Thanks in advance for any help.
