The plan is to use the burb for long distance travel and adventures - and I no longer have the stock seats.
I replaced the entire front floor section with a new floor without the stock riser.
Suggestions? for seats that fit, tip and comfort? I did a search and found some suggestions but, wondering what more of the others have done to modify and improve comfort and safety.

They fit re viewing height, easily bolt to my flat floor and offered all the options: power adjustments, heat & leather. And they were not overly expensive and in excellent shape. --54CarryAll | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 177 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 177 | i used seats from a 96 2 dr tahoe. in my 66 suburban. the passenger seat will slide farther forward to give more room to get in the back on the 2dr than the 4dr | | | | Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 438 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 438 | Tom
I agree w the guys above. I also did the flat floor and used Chevy truck seats . My only adder is Depending on where they match up on the floor use a wide stiffener under the floor so they won't pull to in case some idiot pull out in front of you.

I (and my passengers) pay a very dear butt-pains penalty on long trips, even with my newly reupholstered and well-padded original seats.
