on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2016 Posts: 14 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2016 Posts: 14 | It has been a dream for over 20 years to own a Advanced Design truck. But spending time in the military moving around it just was not in the cards...until now. I retired after 25 years from the USAF last fall. For my 23rd wedding anniversary my wife gave me the best present ever. I am a proud owner of a 1952 3100 AD. I am so stoked to start making it a daily driver. It has a straight body and a 1968 230 inline six. Looking forward to learning from everyone who has already built their dream. I do not have a photobucket account yet so pictures will have to wait. Lol

Yes, there is a lot to learn, at least you came to the right place. Be sure to have fun with it. Congratulations! Thank you for your service. I know how you feel. I'm coming up on 28 years in the Army. My truck is in storage in Kansas City while I do two years in Kuwait. I just found out I'll be going to Germany next so it will be in storage for another 2 years. I really miss it!
Good luck on your build. Post all your questions in the appropriate forum and you will get a wealth of good information.
Thanks
Larry

But I am sure I will have lots of questions. There are a lot of things I am still looking for the truck is only about 60%. Missing a lot of parts.
