What time and where are we meeting to rally?
Is there a lunch plan?
What time are we going into the show as a group and when/where are we meeting to do that?
If we have a few coming, it might not be a bad idea to contact the organizers of the show to make sure it's okay to show up as a group and park together.

I think Carl has a great idea about arriving early to compete in the show, that'll give him a chance to claiming a spot. He'll have the Stovebolt flag so that'll be the identifier to the fellow Bolts.
Who all will be paying for a parking spot in the show?
The day of the show, registration is from 0800 - 1100.
The show is from 1000 - 1500.
$15 for the mail in registration prior to March 17, 2016.
$20 for the day of registration.
If you need an application, let me know and I'll send you one (will need an email address to go with that request)
The event coordinators will not hold spots for a group parking, they will park you as you arrive so a time of arrival needs to be established. If people are arriving at different times and from out of town then the Dunkin Doughnuts is a great idea. Arrive together/park together.
If you can't make a rondevu, that’s okay, show up at the car show and you'll be welcomed with open arms; well maybe not a hug but a hand shake for sure.
If you are going to park in public parking then they'll park you where they can fit you or you'll park where you can find a parking spot.
I'm sure that there will be food vendors so the lunch issue is taken care of...grab a plate, pull out your lawn chair and bask under the glory of the ol' Stovebolt flag. i am hoping to show up to put a few faces to names, and hang out with the crew... if we do lunch i am good with that, if not, still good.

Carl, I just responded to your PM -- thanks. But for those of us who are coming a ways *because* we want to meet up with everyone and hang together ... (MobilOrtho's comments being quite germane ...  ) If we have to be in the show before 1100, how about we meet at 10 somewhere (Like the Dunkin Donuts? Is that handy??) and then go in to the show together as a group? That way, we can be in a group and get our socializing done. -Meet at 10:00 at Dunkin Donuts at 6605 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Yorktown, VA 23692. This will be our staging area to assemble prior to cruising to the Show as a group. (If you can't make it by 10:00, just head to the York High School Car Show at 9300 George Washington Memorial Highway Yorktown, VA 23692.

Yes, you are right about the "display." A few years ago, we went up to a car cruise in near Baltimore. It was lots and lots of cars, and they just gather every Sunday morning from 9 to noon, or something, in this medium-size plaza. Well, some of the ODSS decided to "visit" ... I'm not exactly sure but I'm guessing there was about nine of us with our trucks, including two fire trucks and Bill Marlow's Chevy COE. Everyone in the entire parking lot looked over our way to watch us parade in. It was just so fun and funny. We cruised to a spot where we could all park, and people flooded our way. There actually were a few other trucks there, and those guys moved their trucks to come park near us.
It was very cool. And made me think that these "car shows" need to be "car and truck shows" ... even if we need to just nudge ourselves in some.
Will be fun.

On weather.com, it said the forecast had expired. At least you all won't be getting snow!! And it will be warmer there than here ... if the forecast is right.

Will try to meet you all at the DD by 10am, then follow everyone in, park in the Loser lot and meet up with everyone on the other side trying to motivate my son to come along... Anyone from VA knows the weather changes every 15 Minutes, but as of now, they say 50% rain at noon, increasing from there. 50' at noon and then dropping off from there, low to 40's that night.

On the ride home, we just had a little drizzle and the rain-x did the trick on the windshield so we didn't even need to use the wipers. Good fun. Since Jerry had on all this Chicago Bears attire, I wish I had grabbed either my USMC garb or at least the Green Bay Packers cap. I'm at least glad I wore my lined jeans! Would you believe first time I wore them all year and it was the LAST day of winter.

Yesterday was I day I needed for a while. Jim Brad (number 05 in the photo) met early yesterday and we took a quick jog to our meeting place with the MD bolters. Charlie with his new TPS system was running an excellent pace, so well in fact that Corvettes had a problem keeping up. Yes that's right folks, Sir Charlie had taken another step in his journey and is now keeping modern Vettes in his wake.
I had a blast on the trip to/from Yorktown and the event itself was fun. As always too short and look forward to seeing most a few weeks from now at Homecoming.
Great to catch up with Jim as my co-pilot and see familiar faces and meet new ones. My favorite part of this website.
