George -- Looks like the SoMD contingent is putting together a foursome (me, the Mikes and Hambone) and we will see you Noon, tomorrow. We'll be bringin' my 'Dawg, too.

Tim, THEY all will have a good time. I'm staying put!

For those arriving Saturday morning, sometime around 9:00am should be fine.

Good to go on the Maryland contingent arriving around noon; we'll hit WV with gusto.

John, I'm hoping you will provide your famous Stovebolt beans. We will have pork BBQ with coleslaw.

All others- Bring your bed-roll, pillow, snacks and beverages... and mud boots.

Hambone, I briefed Frankie that we would be executing "Operation Bed Pull". He said he would get his torch tanks filled by Saturday.

I've been planning a sneak attach but unfortunately my father in law is in the hospital. Victoria has been there this week and I am packing and leaving to go and relief her. I'll be gone 8-10 days. Bringing him home from hospital in the A.M. at least that's the plan.
However, it won't be a lost cause. I've been in contact with a couple bolters from that area and plan on trying to get at least a lunch in with them if I can.
I'll be in Shallotte, N.C. between North Myrtle SC and Wilmington NC.
You guys have a great time.

Success was the theme yesterday as the ODSS stormed the first yard with vigalence and might. Rusty parts stood no chance with these expert wrenchmen.

One discovery for me, and I think others has made a profound impact on life as a Stovebolter.

John, Hambone , Mike.B and I pulled into my yard with Farmdog on Johns trailer safely at 9:10 pm. Ol' Farmdog is a helluva tool for the junkyards. Very glad we had him along. Alot of parts were pulled for various projects. The highlight of the Friday eve meeting by the fire were the warming affects of our savior "Butt Coals". What a soothing and awesome invention. To the VanOrdens, Thank You for once again letting us come to your home and entertaining us. An epic time was had by all. And thank you to all my brothers who helped me get my monster undertaking of pulling parts for my needs. THANK YOU ALL.

Thanks again George, Joyce and Jack. Everytime we go to those yards, I seem to find something new (old). This time with an eye for blacksmithing projects, it was a treasure trove. Glad the bed and the 16in rims came home too. George keep an eye on the JY annex and if Frankie drags in some gold, I'd be happy to attack on a moments notice.
By the way, I am tired.

Thanks to everyone for helping me fetch a set of wheels, seems the warmup set a few years ago had us in fine shape, we may not even know our own strength.

It was fun, looking forward to another trip.

The VanOrden clan had a great time as well. If this wasn't the best JYT we've ever had, it was definitely among the best. Great food and fellowship that set the bar for future events.

What goes on tour stays on tour but what the hell are butt coals

Its kind of like eating a York Peppermint Pattie (only different), or the warmth that washes over you when take a big swig off of a "clear" mason jar that came from the hills of Virginia or stepping into a hot tub (only with your clothes on), all emanating from, ahh, the aah, back of your front, if ya know what I mean. Does that clear things up? It's euphoric or in this case, buttphoric!
Guess ya had to be there.
