I've watched the bondo tape a few times but don't think I learned to much! My question is why use expoxy? I guess I'm saying this because I'm planning on trying to do some work myself. I figure using a spray can of Rust-Oleum would work fine since I will be using it only temporarily and it will be sanded back off to "find" all the blemishes?! Then reprime and paint. Only epoxy primer will SEAL and PROTECT the metal from rust until the final paint job.
1. Sand to bare metal.
2. Epoxy prime within 24 hours.
3. Do body work.
4. Prime and blocksand.
5. Paint.

what is the difference between epoxy primer and por-15 in terms of protecting a frame for example.
