Looking at some replacements but don't know if they are 100% correct...thanks. | | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 | It's been a bit of time since I tore mine apart, but I seem to recall there being quite a few small bolts holding the fender wells in place. Of course mine was rusty enough that the bolts just looked like lumps of rusty dirt...

I have a set of wide fenders off a '42, similar design, only one firewall bracket, fits tighter around frame, could probably be used on later models.

Has the bolt holes to attach to the fenders but only one bolt hole that appears to attach to the frame at the front. With Ebay parts, half the sellers don't know what it is they are selling and it's hard to tell from most pix.
I'll keep looking. | | | | Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 Crusing in the Passing Lane | Crusing in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 | I can send you px of mine that fit a '46 for sure, send my your email.
There is a piece of plate that goes over the inner fenders that clamps the [censored]'y to the core support, frequently forgotten, easily made.
