There is a map somewhere that you can put your handle and location on, but it's hard to find and not everyone uses it. I do remember one or two members from up your way, not sure how close to Winnipeg. Maybe Tiny or someone else can direct you to the map.

edit, if you go to the site search box on the left and type in 'where in the world...' the map should appear.
