I have seen them but now can't seem to find them. I wanted an in-dash tach so I enlarge the stock opening and made my own insert out of 18ga and welded it into the dash. | | | | | Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,312 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,312 | Chevs of the 40's carries a few 5 hole billet panels. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 1,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 1,596 | Chevs of the 40's carries a few 5 hole billet panels. Yeah, I've seen the 5 hole billet and 2 hole (large hole) billet panels for purchase. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 435 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 435 | Check out Oldnewparts.com on EBay. They have a lot of different types that should work and prices are reasonable. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 1,554 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 1,554 | I just found them, I was hoping to find one that had a tach and would still fit in the original opening. I have my dash already blasted and fiinished painted. The tach is the reason I had to enlarge my stock opening. Speedway might have "new" gauges to fit old holes.
cm Nobody sells a direct fit gauge set for these, just the billet inserts. | | | | | Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,312 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,312 | There are a few " Dual Gauge " units out there with Tach and Speedo on 1 face. Try Autometer or Speedhut. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 1,554 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 1,554 | Do the billet inserts fit properly in the existing hole in the dash? Fit std dash holes with stainless adapter ring perfectly.
