Saw a couple of pictures on the web of newer looking springs with this shape-- so wondering if these need replacing or just rehabilitation? http://s77.photobucket.com/user/cdc...ngs_zpsztjwfppv.jpeg.html?sort=3&o=0Thanks, Chuck | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,281 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,281 | Are you talking about the shape of the eye where the bushing is inserted? If a new bushing fits somewhat securely, you will be fine. If the pin wore through the bushing and into the spring enough to prevent a snug fit, you would be better off with a new main leaf spring. Both look good enough to rebuild.
