Its been years ago when I purchased a complete bed assembly for my 37 pickup. No problems and good stuff, at least when I got my stuff back around 1998.
I also hear great things about quality from Mar-K whose stuff is American made, not sure about Mac-Hils.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

I bought a whole bed kit back in '99 for my '37 just like Alvin did, the quality was first rate. I live in Kansas City, not to far from Mack Products so I drove over and picked it up. Looked to me like it was all made in house. I was happy with them.
