I have been enjoying this site for a month or two and have learned a lot so far. I work in a collision shop but have restored quite a few different trucks over the years. I like to restore everything back to original but sometimes will upgrade parts if they are unseen, fixes a safety hazard, or a period correct accessory. I have some questions I want to ask but need to search more to see if they have been asked in the past. Thanks. Dustin

Hidiy Dustin- Welcome to the forum. Maybe you have some pictures of all those trucks you've restored you'd like to share??

Go ahead & fire away with your questions...this is a great site for information; especially when restoring a truck to original. So much so, if you use the search function- you may never need to post again!

Welcome Dustin, yes there is a lot to learn and this is the place to learn it. Let me guess, you have a blue 1969 truck, we need to see it.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

Hello Dustin, looking forward to hearing about your latest projects. How far are you from KC? Maybe next September you can come to the 2015 Stovebolt Reunion.
