Hi everyone.
Just bought me a 55 shortbed in Nashville and it will be shipped shortly to me.
Looking forward to having a vehicle where you can see how everything works.
Plan to keep it in the original condition and just maintain it so it runs well.
Just found this forum and it seems full of knowledge so I feel confident that any issue will be easy to fix.
See You

Welcome, Ludde! Congratulations on the purchase and welcome to Stovebolt! You are embarking on quite the journey and you have a lot of help and knowledge available to you here.

There are several Stovebolters in Sweden, including one of our best -- Organ Builder. Karl ought to be along soon to welcome you and let you know how to access the Swedish Stovebolt community.

Be sure to share pictures when the truck arrives (or if you have some already) and send us some info so we can get a Gallery entry up for you. ([email protected])

Thanks and again, Welcome!
John

Hejsan Ludde!
Welcome to the site. Feel free to ignore what John wrote. There are a lot of folks here with valuable practical advice far above what I can dish out on the few subjects that I have dealt with. My most valuable advice is of the "don't do this" variety. But I am in Sweden, and have yet to meet a fellow 'bolter in person. Send pictures!

Welcome to the Stovebolt, Ludde55. I was able to open the link in your first post and find 3 pics of your truck. Nice looking pickup. It does open kind of funky though.
Someone else will have to advise you on the picture posting but we thousands here who can help you on your pickup!

Welcome Ludde, a special welcome for being from so far away! Nice looking truck too. I hope the shipping goes good, have fun with it!
