Long time listener, first time caller. LOL
I joined to share/learn information on my latest project. A '46 2 Ton 'PV' truck.
Ive been wrenching on trucks for 3 decades...never had anything but Chevys, just like my father, and his father before him. Third generation Bowtie man. LOL
I'm a roller coaster mechanic by trade, and Ive also restored/built/raced motorcycles for as long as I can remember. It's been ten years since I've bought a project truck...but- I went and did it again!
Originally a dump truck, this '46 was built in December at the KC plant. I have no use for a dump bed, so I made a deal with the owner to cut off the bed before I took it over. I swapped the bed, for free delivery. :)
I've only had 1/2 tonners up to this point, so this Bigbolt stuff is brand new.

Here she is, as I found her. It had just been pulled out of a grove of trees. The bed was a giant planter box. The bed is off now. More pics later.
