Purchased a 1949 1/2 ton this spring. Been working on it every chance I get. I just had it running (dumping gas down the carb mind you) but I shed tears. I could not have done it without this website. Thanks everyone. I'm putting in a 4 speed, have redone the brakes. I am so close to taking it around the block. I can't wait!!! | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | qdub, welcome to the Stovebolt website. It doesn't matter what condition its in any chance to drive around the block is a great thing to do. You can bet that it will turn heads. | | | | Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 325 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 325 | Hey, that's great!
