Hi Guys

Thanks for the accept.

I recently purchased a ~46 1/2 ton which is a project in the making ~ she runs, but with a lot of love. Down here at the bottom of Africa we drive on the correct side of the road (left), which makes purchasing some parts slightly changeling as there isn't much of a local market available ~ we are also metric, which also keeps it interesting! I will definitely be keeping her original, just need to bring her back to her former glory!

Welcome to the Stovebolt, Southie. The 46 sounds very interesting with the left side drive. Was Africa metric back in those days?
Lots of knowledge and great folks here to help as you work on it. Just post your questions in the most appropriate forum for the best results. I'm sure bolters would love to see some pictures of your pride and joy so post us up some when you can.
We are here to help.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Welcome Soutie, you likely have a Canadian built truck, I don't believe the US assembled any right hand drive vehicles. We have some more right hand drive owners here on the forum, hopefully someone is able to help you out. We have been metric here in Canada since 1976, I still grumble when I have to deal in metric. Good luck with it and be sure to stay in touch.

Welcome Soutie
Keep that excellent South African wine coming here. You are already further ahead than I am as your 46 runs , ours is still in pieces .
Tons of good info here from knowledgable people.

First time I saw this truck I said "That's the one!"
