For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2014 Posts: 11 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jul 2014 Posts: 11 | I'm new to this forum. A few years ago I built a Factory Five Cobra, now I'm trying to sell it to finance my latest project, a 51 GMC pickup.
I have a pretty good background in bodywork, mechanical, paint, etc..
My biggest concern right now as I work on my cab is whether or not the LS3 engine with 6 speed tranny will fit? I look forward to chatting with you guys.

There are quite a few bolters from up around your area so watch for them...or they will find you first. A lot of guys have modified their trucks and put the V8 in them after the old 6's give up the ghost. It'll work. Just ask questions like that over in the Hi Po Forum and you'll get lots of help. Pictures when you can. Good luck. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 2,987 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 2,987 | Welcome! I used them a lot when I put my 5.3 in 96 S10 Blazer and 5.3 in 68 C20. Just make sure you come back here and show us how it goes. Good luck. Jim | | |
