Northern Convoy Members -- Google Map is telling me the trip will be 3 hrs and 14 minutes from HQ. Shall we plan on a 4-hour trip (fuel/refreshment/biological break)? Therefore, I propose a departure time from HQ NLT 0700 for Peggy and I. We pick Mike Roache and Sweet up enroute.

Well, I'm three bucks to the feed bag. That's 3 hours travel to the restaurant. AND, AND I'm curious to meet as many of the so-called 'French Dips' you speak of. Are they French tourists, French-Americans or a food item? Not sure, my curiosity has gotten the better of me and I'd like to find the answer to the quiz in person.
Any room at table? I'll be bringing my old best friend Ray (my '49 1/2 ton) so I'd be mighty obliged to be considered for a parking spot.
I've decided to travel 'the southern route' through 460 if anyone would like to convoy to the restaurant.
Fondest regards,
Cosmo

And even then, it doesn't really become 50 percent or more until we cross the James. If we only hit rain once we get to Yorktown, I could deal with that, I think -- as long as it isn't too hard of a rain ...
I'm with you, though. Charlie don't surf. I'm not too hip on driving in the rain in a 65-year old truck with vacuum wipers ... I may switch to the Cumminsbolt but I may wait until the morning to decide. If we do that, you are more than welcome to jump in with Peggy and I in Port Royal.
Mr President -- That's why you are *my* personal hero. May I have a signed 8x10 color glossy portrait of yourself striking a heroic poise withwhich to fortify my soul simply by gazing upon it in times of weakness?
