I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

fitted a 3" stainless cab protection bar today and started fitting the floor on the bed. This will be covered with polished alloy propeller plate. I have booked her in for inspection next Wednesday and if she passes we will be good to go.
Doesn't seem like five years ago that Mike 'Burgandy Bolt" emailed me about a COE cab he found for sale and after buying it I flew over to California to load it and the donor '83 Chev crewcab into a container for it's trip to NZ

Paint all finished now, well almost just the engine cover to go. The interior all reinstalled and we will be off for a final safety inspection this coming Wednesday and my truck will be legal to drive on NZ roads.
What a journey it has been building this truck. Had it's highs and lows during the 5 year process but to say I am happy with the result would be an understatement.
