| | | | Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 44 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 44 | Hi from Soldotna. I'm building a '48 Chev pickup that is extended 10', chopped 6 1/2' in the front, 4 1/2 in the back, handmade 1/4 windows, suicide doors and I'm using a 348 big block I'm going to punch out to 409.
I was referred by several people and will look into posting pictures.

Sounds like a very interesting project your working on. Had a 348 tri power back in my days. I just love the looks of them.
Some pics would be great. If you have problems wait until you have made 4 post. New members are "moderated" until they have made 4 or 5 post and then you can send private messages and enjoy all things here on the bolt. check out the gallery, tech tips and such stuff. Lots of information here.
