Hi Jerry, how difficult will it be for you to find a tri 5 pickup down there? They are getting tough to find, reasonably, in decent condition here. I prefer the small window models for driving, but also like the look of the big window. I also like the 55/56 grill. Sure would like to visit your country for some fishing and hunting, you guys have Yellowtail that would eat ours! Welcome and good luck in your quest.

Jerry, glad to see your "picking and choosing" and taking your time to decide what is right for you. Your "baby" will be with you for a long time and you will become very close smile Treat here nice and she will do the same for you.

Let us know what kind of help you need. Visit often.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Hi Jerry,

Awesome there is a Kiwi on this site. I arrived in Tauranga a week ago to work on the Rena wreck site off of Motiti Island. Since I have been here, have seen a lot of classic cars and trucks in the area. Totally awesome!

Welcome to the Stovebolt and the folks here are super! They can answer most any question you may have on the Chevy and GMC trucks.

If the offshore weather stays rough offshore through the weekend, hoping to go to the car show in Tauranga on Sunday.

Take care and Cheers Mate!

Hi Jerry,

I will get the show info from our cook. I was told the car meet was going to be near downtown Tauranga this Sunday.

Cheers!

Hi Jerry,

The show is on Sunday from 10:00 to 4:00 at the Mt. Maunganui College Grounds. Here is the web site: Show Off Your Wheels Auto Show
